Dalal -Is Egypt better off without Hosni Mubarak?

Dear All,

Previously I believed that the best thing had happened to Egypt, Hosni Mubarak resigning. However, I was watching the news and started searching on the Internet - could it be true that crime rate in Egypt sice Mubarak left has soared to 200%? This article says so: http://www.thestar.com/news/world/article/968848--crime-wave-grips-egypt-blamed-on-lack-of-police
Instead of stability taking place after the revolution, we see chaos, and the situation is only getting worse. The article also talks about the lack of police in the area, they are "hardly visible" and also mentions the fact that the late President Sadat's grandneice was kidnapped while heading to school! She was returned after her family paid a ransom.
