Governments in the middle east are becoming increasingly apprehensive about their citizens' activities online. Earlier this month, a blogger in Egypt was jailed for three years for "insulting the military" in his blog posts. In Bahrain, government officials have intensified their crackdown on bloggers. According to reports at least 450 people have been arrested for being "political activists.
