I found Mohammed's discussion about Shia in Kuwait to be very enlightening and interesting. Upon searching for information on this topic, I found an aljazeera interview with a very prominent Kuwait Political Science Professor, Dr. Abdullah Al Nafisi about Shia in Kuwait. These are three segments taken from the interview which are really informative:
The first talks about the differences between pre and post the Islamic Revolution of 1979 in Iran. He claims that there was a shift from religious orientation to a more political one... This is very interesting as respect to the fact the word Shia actually has a political meaning.

The second clip talks about the dispute between Sunnis and Shias or there lack of in the country of Kuwait. As well as the general acceptance of Shias.

The third clip is the most interesting because it discusses the rights of women with Sunnis and Shias. Interestingly, Dr. Nafisi asserts that Shia women have a "marja'iah" point of reference, where as the women in the Gulf, including Kuwait have none, they take the West as an example.
