Hey Guys,
I was thinking perhaps we could engage in a discussion about the current events that are going on in Bahrain? I find it very interesting how sectarianism has played such a big role in all of this.
I've heard a lot of opinions on what's going on from different people of different backgrounds. I personally think that the demonstrations and protests are justified; when around 60% of the population (if not more) are Shiites and have no real say in what goes on in their country or in other perhaps better words, that they have no substantial power or influence.
So i just wanted to see what you guys think of it since a lot of you are probably a lot more aware of the Bahraini tradition than I am.
