Below is a link from a blog in Qatari living in 2008, it's a great discussion about the unfairness of the Qatari law regarding Qatari women marrying non-Qatari men, outside the GCC, it reminds me of our discussion on the Emarati women and is a great parallel. It shows us that women from the GCC countries are struggling from spinsterhood for the same reasons, that of the men marrying non-GCC women.
