I found the main site for the Musheireb project. The initiatives of the project are very interesting. Our trip to Dohaland gave us an overview of the project, but the website is helpful for anyone interested in learning more in detail about the project. There are five phases to the project. The first phase, phase A-1 is to be finished at the end of 2012.
The project will be completed by 2016 (inshallah). -- (that's pretty incredible!)
